Vendor selection is probably the most important decision for the success of the retail business. Due to the affordability of technology, many companies create very professional websites using the technical expertise of IT companies in Bangladesh , whereas they actually lack technical and infrastructural capabilities to handle internationally accepted production quality. We use multiple sources of information to evaluate each and every supplier. Our compliance team must approve all our vendors before we even start any sampling with them. We try to take 360-degree feedback from the vendor to understand their existing quality practices and shipment delivery history. We take feedback from their old employees, existing and old customers, sub-vendors, and other reliable sources from the market.

The vendor for a particular order is selected on the basis of the “Product Capability-Price-Timely Delivery-Quality Control” matrix. If a particular order is for promotional purposes, then price plays the guiding factor, and our choice is based on the best price, timely delivery, and reasonable quality. But, for a high-quality, prestigious order, price is not the sole factor in decision-making, so quality and timely delivery becomes the deciding factor. All our vendors pay fair wages to their employees, follow ethical practices, and no child labor is involved in their factories. YOUR EARS & EYES IN BANGLADESH

We provide complete merchandising support to our customers. Once our customer starts planning a new product, our merchandising team comes into action by offering them the best possible products from Bangladesh . Our team organizes all samples for selection. Once Purchase order confirmation is received, Our team starts working with the production planning team of a manufacturing company. The whole order process is divided into sub-processes with milestone dates for the completion of each sub-process. The time-Action plan is shared with the customer. Our teams start follow-up for each and every sub-process on daily basis.  We identify the critical path and ensure that the supplier follows all procedures and precautions to stick to the milestone dates.

We continuously visit the factories to make sure all the raw material being used is the same as the one used in the approved sample.. It’s our responsibility to make sure pre-production samples are approved by the customer before the commencement of final production. Approved samples are passed on to our quality assurance team so they can start multiple in-line inspections and final inspections.  Production samples are randomly picked by our team and sent to office to avoid any last-minute surprises. Each and every shipment is inspected by our quality assurance team and sent to the customer for approval before final despatch to port.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

We work very closely with, product development teams at manufacturing mills. Our close association with design and development teams helps us arrive at the most suitable fabric construction and production processes, which helps us bring the cost down as per the customer’s target price and budgetary constraints. We ensure to meet the deadlines of development, production planning, and scheduling. All of this is achieved through a series of product creation phases. Idea generation, idea screening, design development, and testing, business strategy development, product development, marketing research, and market commercialization. Product development, as everybody knows, entails risking valuable time, money, and intellectual assets, so proper planning and reliability of the supplier are crucial.

For special designs and production programs, we sign an exclusivity agreement with our suppliers for specific markets. Our customers help us to understand all major products customers are looking for online so we can develop new products accordingly.

PRICE NEGOTIATION

Negotiating agreeable terms of the contract with vendors is one of the pillars of effective supply chain management. It has to be a win-win situation for all the parties involved. Transparency plays a very important role in price negotiation and long-term relationships. We offer Internationally competitive prices to our customers and help our suppliers understand how they can reduce their production costs without compromising on quality. We provide our customers with the break-up of costing for easy evaluation and quick decision-making. For each program, we take quotes from multiple suppliers. We also negotiate freight charges with shipping companies. We try our best to get them a competitive deal in terms of the Price-Quality Delivery-Service matrix. Our very long business relationship with suppliers and manufacturers helps us to get the best prices for products.

COMPLIANCE & CODE OF CONDUCT

Textile Team Solution have compliance requirements that stem from our vast experience in the field and have been incorporated to ensure that our standards are unsurpassed. We ensure that no child labor and forced labor are employed in our vendor’s factories. We also ensure that suppliers don’t use corporal punishment or other forms of mental or physical coercion. None of our suppliers is allowed to offer bribes, kickbacks, gifts, favors, loans, or services to any of our employees or client for any reason. We also ensure that workplace and working hours are as per international standards. We prefer suppliers who use renewable energy sources for most of their requirements, provide subsidized food for the employees, are committed to using more recycled material in the manufacturing and packaging, and work for the welfare of the employees.

Surprisingly, leading third-party inspection companies follow the system of only final inspection, and if something is found wrong, nothing can be done except either rejecting the whole lot of goods resulting in loss of vendor, or acceptance of defective goods by the buyer, meaning a compromise. Our quality assurance systems are developed using our vast experience in the field of manufacturing. Merchandise is inspected as per AQL level and as per buyer’s specification. Unlike most other sourcing companies, we have a concept of continuous quality control.

We involve our qualified quality personnel throughout the process starting from raw material procurement to the final dispatch of goods to the port stage so that nothing goes wrong. We station one of our quality assurance executives at the factory for high-volume business to have continuous unbiased information all the time. We take freight quotations from multiple shipping agents and share them with customers so they can compare them with the local quotations they receive at their end.
